My latest project has been an 1850’s flounced sheer dress. Each flounced tier is scalloped and the scallops are all hand-pinked. The basic pattern I used was Laughing Moon #111. The fabric used is a sheer white dotted swiss (the dots are yellow) and it is trimmed with a cream and yellow striped, pleated silk taffeta. SantaCon 2010 is right around the corner - I’m planning on joining the Sacramento Cacophony society in their running of the santas on saturday 12/18 at 2pm at the Sacramento County Jail.
